Radha Krishna Temple of Dallas (RKT) is a temple for Hindus situated in Allen area. It was put up by JKYog, during the reign of Swami Mukundananda.

The Radha Krishna Temple of Dallas was launched in July 2017 in a ceremony that went on for eight days under the patronage of JKYog, a spiritual not-for-profit organization, and Swami Mukunanda. The construction of the place of worship strictly followed the laid-out temple architectural guidelines according to the Shilpa Shastra. The house of worship is designed to host congregations for worship, religious functions, cultural festivals, as well as other community celebrations. The temple is actually a cultural and architectural facility of its kind.

The setting up of the Center for Education and Culture commenced with the Bhoomi Poojan celebration in May 2020. The building, which occupies 20,000 square feet, will host facilities for meditation classes, yoga, kid's classes, youth leadership seminars, wedding ceremonies, cultural events, and many other community functions.

Events and Programs

Radha Krishna Temple observes all the main Hindu festivals like Radhastami, Holi, Janmashtami, Navratri, Tulsi Viva, Mahashivratri, Ganesh Chaturthi, and Diwali. Also, the temple hosts cultural events such as Yoga and Sanskriti. Apart from religious events and celebrations, the temple offers a variety of courses such as Hindi, Toastmasters, and Programming.

The temple often approaches the local community and surrounding areas to include more festivities and spend more quality moments with their loved ones, friends, and the community at large.

Kids and youth programs

The facility hosts a program for kids ages 6 to 16, courtesy of JKYog. The program strengthens spiritual values by emphasizing on healthy mind and body for children alongside various fun activities such as painting and dancing. The temple also holds a talent show for kids every year known as “Sanskriti” to nurture and showcase their gifts.

Community programs

Radha Krishna Temple organizes various programs to enhance the quality of life of community members through community service, personality development, meditation, yoga, and spirituality. The temple also organizes Toastmasters, weekend retreats, spiritual discourses, Satsang congregations, weekly meditation and yoga classes, and a Family Camp for Hindus, where adults spend time on their spiritual and personal development.
