Eagle Stadium

Eagle Stadium is a soccer stadium located in Allen, TX. The Allen Independent School District owns and manages it and it is the home ground for the Allen High School team. The stadium, which is a source of pride for the local citizens and the most magnificent high school soccer facility within the country, lies on a 72-acre land.

Eagle Stadium Launch

The stadium was officially opened on 31 August 2012 with a duel bringing together the defending champions in the Texas 5A state, Southlake Carroll Dragons, and the Allen Eagles. Allen hammered the Dragons, 24 against 0, a win that was witnessed by a record capacity of 22,000, part of it being 4,000 spectators in the overflow.

Allen Dragons had never recorded a win against Dragons before that match day. It was seemingly convenient that Eagles showed off their might during the night of the launch of a stadium that set the trend on how high school stadiums should look like. The stadium is a great sign of the commitment that Allen treasures the educational grounding of its young generation.

Eagle Stadium Facts

The Eagle Stadium occupies 72 acres of land. Allen citizens spent about $60 million to put up this facility.

The stadium, which has a sitting area of 18,000 people, is also fitted with a 75' by 45' inch HD video board for immediate replay.

Eagle Stadium has a parking lot that can hold up to 5,050 cars and two-terminal areas that can be rented during match days. The facility also boasts 42 channels for concession-serving and a three-layer press box fully fitted with shooting decks for coaches and media.

As you enter the stadium, you might think you are stepping into a professional soccer or college facility. The design and architecture of the stadium is a replica of the neighboring Frisco minor-league ballpark.

Although the facility was constructed for football, it equally hosts other sports. The stadium has a workout area for wrestling; a golf practice section dedicated to women's and men's golf teams, as well as a weight room.

If you're keen on your health, you can go for a bistro box with crackers, assorted cheese, and fresh fruit. There are also four concession stands where caffeine lovers can enjoy a cup of cappuccino.
